CM Balochistan Orders Immediate Registration of Unregistered Mines and Enhanced Security in Duki Area

Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sardar Usman Buzdar, has directed the immediate registration of unregistered mines in the province. According to private TV reports, the Chief Minister has also instructed the Inspector General (IG) of Police to recruit 200 security personnel on merit for securing the Duki Mines area.

A high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Minister focused on improving security arrangements in the Duki Mines area. The meeting was attended by the Minister for Mines, Mir Shouaib Nosherwani, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Principal Secretary, IG Police Balochistan, and other officials.

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar stated that a comprehensive strategy is being developed to restore peace in the Duki Mines area. He also emphasized revising the royalty rates of the mines and ensuring that the profits from the royalty are used for local development. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of coordination among the FC, Police, and Levies forces to ensure peace in the region.
