7-Day Polio Campaign in Balochistan Concludes Successfully, 99% Target Achieved

Quetta:The 7-day anti-polio campaign in Balochistan has been successfully completed, with a remarkable 99% of the target achieved. According to the Emergency Operations Center, over 2.6 million children were vaccinated against polio during the campaign.*

The authorities ensured strict security measures during the campaign, and fortunately, no untoward incidents were reported. The campaign was particularly important due to the 27 reported polio cases in the region last year. Health and polio eradication officials have appealed to parents to continue supporting the anti-polio efforts to ensure Balochistan remains polio-free.
