Solidarity with Kashmir: Special Walk Held in Quetta on Kashmir Solidarity Day

QUETTA:A special walk was organized by the Directorate of Youth Affairs Balochistan on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, led by the Provincial Advisor for Sports and Youth Affairs, Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch. The event saw a large turnout of youth, civil society representatives, teachers, students, and people from various walks of life.
The walk aimed to express complete solidarity with the Kashmiri people and raise voices for their right to self-determination. Participants carried banners and placards with slogans like “Kashmir will be Pakistan,” “Kashmiris’ sacrifices will not go in vain,” and “We, the people of Balochistan, stand with our oppressed Kashmiri brothers.”
During the walk, participants chanted slogans in support of the Kashmiri people, urging the international community to play its part in granting them their fundamental right to self-determination. Addressing the participants, Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch emphasized that the Kashmiri people have faced oppression for decades, but their spirits remain strong. She assured that the people of Pakistan stand by their Kashmiri brothers and will continue to support their struggle on all platforms.
She further encouraged the youth of Balochistan to play an active role in raising awareness about the Kashmir issue on the global stage. “The government of Balochistan is providing every possible opportunity for the youth to participate in constructive activities and to raise awareness about national and international issues,” she said.
Ms. Majeed Baloch added that such events offer a positive platform for youth to discuss social issues and channel their energies for the betterment of society. She called on everyone to reaffirm their commitment to the Kashmiri cause on this significant day.
During the walk, the youth demonstrated patriotism by singing national songs and waving the national flag to show their strong allegiance. The event concluded with a special prayer for the freedom of the Kashmiri people, Pakistan’s prosperity, and the success of the Muslim Ummah.
The walk not only conveyed a message of solidarity with the Kashmiri people across Quetta but also played a pivotal role in raising awareness among youth about national and international issues.
