PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja Clarifies Spokesperson Roles and Party Matters

Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General, Salman Akram Raja, addressed media questions regarding party spokespeople and ongoing party matters, including the role of Mishel Yousafzai and Aaliya Hamza.

Speaking outside Adiala Jail, Raja confirmed that Mishel Yousafzai serves as the spokesperson for Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan. He clarified that Yousafzai’s responsibilities extend to coordinating legal matters related to Bushra Bibi’s cases in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, adding that party spokespeople and officials are the primary individuals responsible for representing PTI.

When asked about Aaliya Hamza, Raja praised her as an active member of the party, noting that Imran Khan is keen to give her a larger role. A strategy meeting will be held with PTI’s leadership in Punjab to determine her responsibilities within the party.

Regarding the showcause notice issued to PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat, Raja stated that the matter is not directly related to him. He explained that when a showcause notice is issued, it is followed by a response and a decision made by the party.

Raja’s comments highlighted the ongoing discussions within PTI regarding roles and responsibilities as the party navigates through legal challenges and internal matters.
