Imposed Government Has Pushed the Province into a Swamp of Instability and Unemployment; Rulers Busy in Publicity Stunts: Maulana Abdul Wasey
Travel from Quetta to Karachi Has Also Become Unsafe; People of a Resource-Rich Province Deprived of Basic Facilities: Agha Mahmood Shah

QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan Provincial Ameer Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey and Provincial Secretary General Agha Mahmood Shah have said that JUI’s role in securing the NFC Award, public service and providing employment to youth is part of history, but the current government imposed through Form 47 has given the people nothing but cosmetic measures. Unemployment, lack of basic facilities, instability and terrorist incidents in the province are clear proof of government failure, while travel from Quetta to Karachi has also become a source of difficulty and insecurity for the people.
They said that despite Balochistan being rich in natural resources, its people are deprived of gas, electricity, employment and other basic facilities; the youth are gripped by despair, and the rulers are busy in publicity activities instead of solving public problems. Government performance is proven not by slogans and announcements but by providing relief to the people, establishing law and order and creating employment opportunities.
The leaders said that respect for the public mandate is the foundation of democracy, and those who rob the people of their right to rule cannot win public trust. God willing, the time is not far when the people of Balochistan, confronting all conspiracies, will once again express confidence in Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam. JUI will continue its constitutional and peaceful struggle for the rights of the people, authority over the province’s resources, a bright future for the youth and the establishment of a genuine democratic system.
