Personal Attacks Reflect Political Immaturity, Power May Not Last Forever: Kamran Murtaza

ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Daily): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Senator Kamran Murtaza has advised political leaders to keep their differences confined to political statements, saying that resorting to personal attacks reflects a lack of maturity.

“Those who resort to personal attacks demonstrate their own immaturity. There was a time when you needed Maulana Fazlur Rehman, but today you have power. Times will change, and it is uncertain whether you will continue to hold this power tomorrow,” Murtaza said.

He reminded political leaders that political circumstances are constantly changing and that no one can assume that their current position of strength will last forever.

Referring to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the JUI senator said that the party had also gone through its time in power and had previously referred to Maulana Fazlur Rehman using different names.

Murtaza’s remarks underscored the importance of maintaining political decorum and avoiding personal attacks despite differences among political parties.
