Public Mandate Was Ambushed in Elections; Results Were Changed Through Form 47: Mahmood Khan Achakzai

ISLAMABAD (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chairman and Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aaeen Pakistan head, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai, while talking to journalists at the Parliament House Press Gallery along with senior leaders of allied parties included in Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aaeen Pakistan, said that during the elections, the person who was in charge of this whole drama came to my house in the dark of night at around two-thirty or three o’clock with his entire team. He came with his entire team — those who were running this whole system from Chaman to Quetta — and sat down. Both provincial seats of Chaman, and along with that the National Assembly seat from Chaman on which I was contesting — regarding which Naqvi Sahib said Form 47, I have made the allegation — when that gentleman came out of my house, he telephoned a man from our party that they would not give your party even a single seat. Along with my seat, they snatched all four provincial seats from us. That was General Faisal Naseer. General Faisal Naseer Sahib had come out and said that they would not give them even a single seat. On my seat, the boy from Balochistan who had lost was made to win. They snatched four seats just like that, but when the Returning Officer was told about the National Assembly seat, he said: look, I have a pistol, this is an elderly man of our area, and this seat is won by him; I cannot do this work. He said that with this pistol, either I will kill myself, or you kill me — only then will I change this result. This is how I came under Form 47. I did not respond because some gentleman must have told Naqvi Sahib this and he must have believed it. I have an idea who might have said it, but I will not name anyone.
