Maulana Fazlur Rehman has once again issued an irresponsible statement: Uzma Bukhari

LAHORE (Qudrat Daily) — Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari, reacting strongly to the statement by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has once again issued an irresponsible statement and is supporting the supporters of terrorists. The responsibility for the deprivations of the former FATA does not lie with the federation but with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, which ruled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for 13 years.

In her statement issued on the social media platform X, Uzma Bukhari said that the question of the former FATA’s funding and the lack of development work should be asked of the PTI founder and his party. Maulana Fazlur Rehman and his party have been targeted in numerous terrorist attacks, therefore such a statement does not behoove Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

The provincial information minister said that by making such irresponsible statements, whom is Maulana Fazlur Rehman trying to please? Do politics, but do not mock the institutions and the martyrs.

مولانا فضل الرحمن کی جانب سے ایک بار پھر غیر سنجیدہ بیان دیا گیا ہے،دہشتگردوں کے حامیوں کی حمایت افسوسناک ہے،سابقہ فاٹا کی محرومیوں کے ذمہ دار وفاق نہیں تحریک انصاف ہے جسکی وہاں تیرا سال سے حکومت رہی،سابقہ فاٹا ی فنڈز اور ترقیاتی کام نہ ہونے کا سوال انکو بانی پی ٹی آئی اور انکی جماعت سے کرنا چاہیے۔مولانا فضل الرحمن اور ان کی جماعت متعدد مرتبہ دہشت گردی کے حملوں کا نشانہ بنے،مولانا فضل الرحمن کو اس طرح کا بیان زیب نہیں دیتا،مولانا فضل الرحمن ایسے غیر سنجیدہ بیانات دے کر کس کو خوش کرنے کی کوشش کررہے ہیں؟سیاست کریں اداروں اور شہداء کی تضحیک مت کریں،مولانا فضل الرحمن نے کچھ عرصہ قبل بھی شہداء کی تضحیک کی،مولانا فضل الرحمن کے سابقہ بیان پر قوم نے شدید غصے کا اظہار کیا تھا،تحریک انصاف دہشت گرد جماعتوں کی بی ٹیم ہے یہ بات اب ڈھکی چھپی نہیں رہی،وفاق نے شوق سے خیبر پختونخواہ میں گورنر راج نافذ نہیں کیا،خیبر پختونخواہ میں گورنر راج تحریک انصاف کی حکومت کی دہشت گرد دوست پالیسیوں کی وجہ سے لگایا گیا،مولانا فضل الرحمن کو اپنے بیان پر پشیمانی کا اظہار کرنا چاہیے،مولانا فضل الرحمن کی بیان سے قوم میں شدید غم و غصہ پایا جا رہا ہے،ایک میچور سیاستدان کی طرف سے غیرذمہ دارانہ بیانات ناقابل قبول ہیں،

Uzma Bukhari said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman had also mocked the martyrs some time ago, while the nation had expressed severe anger over his previous statement regarding the Pakistan Army.

She said that PTI is the B-team of terrorist groups; this is no longer a hidden matter. The federation did not willingly impose governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; rather, governor’s rule was imposed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because of the PTI government’s terrorist-friendly policies.

The Punjab information minister said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman should express remorse over his statement. According to her, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is creating severe grief and anger among the nation, and irresponsible statements by a mature politician are unacceptable.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had also reacted strongly to Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s statement, saying that from a senior politician like Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who himself has been a victim of terrorism, support for those backing terrorism was not expected.

Maryam Nawaz had said that instead of holding accountable those responsible for ruining the province through incompetence, inefficiency, and corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, speaking in their support is extremely regrettable. She said that no one other than PTI itself is responsible for the end of its own government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
