“The Four Provincial Seats They Snatched From Us, Including Mine, Were Taken by General Faisal Naseer”: Mahmood Khan Achakzai

Islamabad (Daily Qudrat) — Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai has leveled allegations, saying that the four provincial seats they snatched from us, including mine, were taken by General Faisal Naseer. A man from our party was telephoned that not even one seat would be given. The losing Balochistan candidate on my seat was made to win.

Responding to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s statement, Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that the person who was in charge of this whole drama during the elections came to my house in the darkness of night at around 2:30 to 3 o’clock with his entire team. He came with his whole team — those who were running this entire system from Chaman to Quetta — and sat down.

Both provincial seats of Chaman, and along with them the National Assembly seat from Chaman on which I was contesting — regarding which Naqvi Sahib spoke of Form 47 — I have leveled the allegation that when that gentleman left my house, he telephoned a man from our party that not even one seat would be given to your party.

الیکشن کے دوران جو شخص اس سارے ڈرامے کا انچارج تھا، وہ رات کے اندھیرے میں تقریباً ڈھائی تین بجے پوری ٹیم کے ساتھ میرے گھر آیا۔ وہ پوری ٹیم سمیت، جو چمن سے لے کر کوئٹہ تک اس سارے نظام کو چلا رہے تھے، آئے اور بیٹھ گئے۔

چمن کی دونوں صوبائی نشستیں، اور ساتھ ہی چمن کی قومی اسمبلی کی نشست جس پر میں کھڑا تھا، جس پر نقوی صاحب نے کہا کہ فارم 47، میں نے الزام لگایا ہے،

جب وہ صاحب میرے گھر سے نکلے تو انہوں نے ہماری پارٹی کے ایک آدمی کو ٹیلی فون کیا کہ تمہاری پارٹی کو ایک نشست بھی نہیں دیں گے۔

میری نشست سمیت چاروں صوبائی نشستیں انہوں نے ہم سے چھین لیں۔ وہ جنرل فیصل نصیر تھے۔

جنرل فیصل نصیر صاحب نے نکل کر کہا تھا کہ انہیں ایک بھی نشست نہیں دیں گے۔

میری نشست پر بلوچستان کا جو لڑکا ہارا ہوا تھا، اسے جتوایا گیا۔

چار نشستیں تو انہوں نے ویسے ہی چھین لیں لیکن جب قومی اسمبلی کی نشست پر اس ریٹرننگ افسر کو کہا گیا، تو اس نے کہا کہ دیکھو میرے پاس پستول ہے، یہ ہمارے علاقے کا بوڑھا آدمی ہے، اور یہ نشست جیتا ہوا ہے، میں یہ کام نہیں کر سکتا۔ اس نے کہا کہ اس پستول سے یا میں خود کو مار لوں گا، یا آپ مجھے مار دیں، تب ہی میں یہ نتیجہ تبدیل کروں گا۔

اس طرح میں فارم 47 کے تحت آیا ہوں۔ میں نے اس لیے جواب نہیں دیا کیونکہ نقوی صاحب کو کسی شریف آدمی نے یہ بات کہی ہوگی اور وہ بھروسہ کر گئے ہوں گے۔ مجھے اندازہ ہے کہ کس نے کہا ہوگا، لیکن میں کسی کا نام نہیں بتاتا۔

“General Faisal Naseer Sahib had come out and said that they would not be given even a single seat. The losing Balochistan candidate on my seat was made to win.” Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that they snatched four seats just like that, but when the returning officer for the National Assembly seat was asked, he said: “Look, I have a pistol; this is an elderly man from our area, and he has won this seat. I cannot do this work.”

He said, “With this pistol, either I will shoot myself, or you will shoot me — only then will I change this result.”

“In this way, I came under Form 47. I did not reply because some gentleman must have told Naqvi Sahib this and he must have trusted it. I have an idea who may have said it, but I will not name anyone.”
