Panjgur (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — National Party leaders and Member Provincial Assembly Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch and National Party leader and Member National Assembly Phaleen Baloch have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident of the murder of former Chairman of Anjuman-e-Tajaran Panjgur and prominent trader Haji Sameeullah, who was shot dead between Basima and Nag in Washuk district, and have strongly condemned it.
In their joint statement, both leaders said that Haji Sameeullah was a prominent trader and social personality. His murder in this manner is an extremely tragic and condemnable incident. This sorrowful tragedy has caused severe grief to the deceased’s family, relatives, the trader community, and the people of Panjgur.
They said that the protection of the lives and property of traders, travelers, and ordinary citizens in Balochistan is becoming a serious issue. Incidents of targeting citizens on highways, along with creating fear and panic among the people, also raise serious questions about the law and order situation in the province. It is the responsibility of the government and relevant institutions to take effective and practical measures to ensure the protection of people’s lives and property.
Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch and Phaleen Baloch demanded that a transparent and impartial investigation into the murder of Haji Sameeullah be conducted, the accused involved in the incident be immediately arrested and brought before the law, and concrete measures be taken for the protection of citizens, traders, and travelers across Balochistan so that people can continue their business and daily activities without fear or danger.
Both leaders further said that the National Party is an equal partner in the grief of the deceased Haji Sameeullah’s family, relatives, and the trader community in this hour of sorrow and grief. They prayed that Allah Almighty grant forgiveness to the deceased, bestow upon him a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and grant the bereaved family patience and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
