Notification Issued for Increase in Petroleum Product Prices

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – OGRA has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products. According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by 2 rupees 31 paise, while the price of High Speed Diesel has been reduced by 78 paise per liter.
The new price of petrol has been set at 398 rupees 96 paise, and the price of High Speed Diesel has been set at 395 rupees 72 paise.
The new prices will be applicable from 12 midnight tonight.
Furthermore, crude oil and gold prices witnessed an upward trend in international markets on Thursday, while agricultural commodity prices recorded a mixed trend.
According to Bloomberg, the price of crude oil futures under US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose by 3.04 dollars to 91.32 dollars per barrel, while the price of Brent Crude futures increased by 3.78 dollars to 103.98 dollars per barrel.
The spot gold price rose by 14.89 dollars to 4,124 dollars per ounce, while the silver price was recorded at 59.35 dollars per ounce, down by 0.94 dollars.
Among agricultural commodities, the price of corn remained stable at 502 dollars per bushel. The price of wheat rose by 1.25 dollars to 687.75 dollars per bushel. The price of cotton increased by 0.40 dollars per unit, while the price of live cattle recorded a decrease of 0.32 dollars.
