JTI Leader Hafiz Ehsanullah Brutally Killed While Resisting Robbery in Chaman; Dead Body Placed in Front of DC Complex, Intense Protest Sit-In Staged
Protesters Chant Slogans Against Provincial Government and Administration, Traffic Suspended; Sit-In Ends After Assurance of Arresting Robbers and Official Declaration as Martyr

Chaman (Daily Qudrat Quetta) – In the suburban area of Mahmudabad in Chaman, District Leader of Jamiat Talaba Islam Hafiz Ehsanullah was killed (martyred) by firing by motorcycle-borne robbers. Against the incident, a large number of All Parties and Jamiat Talaba Islam leaders and workers staged an intense protest sit-in in front of the DC Complex along with the martyr’s dead body.
According to received details, Hafiz Ehsanullah was going from his home to the madrasa this morning as usual when armed robbers stopped him at Mahmudabad and tried to rob him. Upon resistance, the savage robbers opened indiscriminate fire and killed him.
Against this heart-wrenching incident, All Parties, Jamiat Ulema Islam district leaders, and workers immediately staged an intense protest, placed the martyr’s dead body in front of the DC Complex, and staged a sit-in. Due to the sit-in, traffic flow in front of the DC Complex was suspended, while agitated protesters chanted intense slogans against the provincial government and administration. The protesters’ forceful demand was that the beastly accused involved in this horrific incident of firing and robbery be immediately arrested and brought before the law.
Seeing the gravity of the situation, senior officials of the police and district administration immediately swung into action and held successful negotiations with the protesters. The district administration, accepting all the demands of the protesters, assured that raids would be conducted for the immediate arrest of the robbers involved in the incident, while martyred Hafiz Ehsanullah would also be officially declared a martyr.
After waiting and the assurance of acceptance of demands, the protesters peacefully ended the protest.
