Court Orders Production of Drug Dealer Anmol Pinky at Next Hearing

KARACHI: A Judicial Magistrate South court has ordered the production of accused Anmol alias Pinky at the next hearing in cases pertaining to the recovery of drugs and weapons.

The accused and her co-accused were not produced before the court via video link by the jail authorities during the hearing.

The court directed that all accused be produced at the next hearing and specifically ordered that Anmol Pinky be presented before the court in person.

The court observed that the personal appearance of Anmol alias Pinky was mandatory, adding that it was impossible to provide copies of the case documents to the accused through a video link.

The court adjourned the hearing until October 13 and directed that proceedings to declare the absconding accused as proclaimed offenders should continue.

According to the prosecution, the accused were arrested earlier this year. Anmol Pinky was allegedly involved in the large-scale purchase and sale of narcotics.

Cases against the accused were registered at Garden Police Station.
