“When the Brother-in-Law Was Carrying Out Invasions, Was Religion Not Remembered Then?”: Khawaja Asif

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, responding to PTI founder Imran Khan’s brother-in-law Ahad Khan, said, “When the brother-in-law was carrying out invasions, was religion not remembered then?” In a post on X, he said, “When the brother-in-law was carrying out invasions, religion was not remembered then — I dare to say I am a sinful man.”
He said this is hypocrisy, not our religion. Khawaja Asif said that religion does not come from appearance or attire but from the purity of the soul.

PTI founder Imran Khan’s brother-in-law Ahad Khan alleged that these judges and chief ministers are very unfortunate people — instead of preparing their graves, they are ruining their hereafter. Speaking to the media, Ahad Khan said that the PTI founder is also illegally imprisoned; leaving aside the legal and illegal debate, what are all these people doing? Our judges and chief ministers have crossed the age of 60, with 15 to 20 years of life remaining. Instead of preparing their graves, they are ruining their hereafter. Allah had given them the opportunity to set the nation right, but they went the opposite way. Do they think that by earning money through wrong means, they will enjoy it in this world?
He said that whatever Imran Khan did in his youth, at present he is with zero sins; in jail one cannot commit sin — neither lie nor backbite. Whatever his sisters are doing, they are doing it for reward; you cannot defeat them.
He said, “I pray for them after every prayer that Allah grant them the ability to repent before death. I pray for them by name. We have no worry — the more injustice they do to us, the higher our ranks rise. You cannot defeat the PTI founder and his sisters.”
