Artificial and Fake Terrorism Imposed Under a Deliberate Plan; Pashtuns Displaced in Their Own Homeland: Khushhal Khan Kakar

Zhob (Daily Qudrat Quetta) – Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP) Chairman Khushhal Khan Kakar has said that the people of Zhob played a major role in securing representation for PkNAP in the National Assembly. Expressing gratitude to the people of Zhob, he made clear that the party is thankful for their strong support in the last elections, and considers it a national duty to repay this debt by raising its voice on every forum to resolve all the problems faced by the people.
He was addressing public gatherings organised by the Mandokhel Sharqi regional unit in Kili Takai Silyaza and Girda Babar. Senior Deputy Chairman Raza Muhammad Raza, Provincial Vice President Abdul Qayyum Advocate, District Senior Deputy Secretary Nematullah Mandokhel, Dr Afrasiab Mandokhel, Sardar Muhammad Anwar Babar, Akbar Khan, and Azam Khan also addressed the gatherings. In Girda Babar, Saifur Rehman placed a Pashtun turban on party chairman Khushhal Khan Kakar, while Azizullah Khan placed one on Senior Deputy Chairman Raza Muhammad Raza.
Addressing the gatherings, party chairman Khushhal Khan Kakar said that the Pashtun nation faces a painful situation in every walk of life. A very large majority of them have been forced into a migratory life and are displaced as IDPs. Artificial and fake terrorism, lawlessness, and unrest have been imposed on their homeland under a deliberate plan. The people of Zhob and Sherani are themselves aware of this situation; therefore, to confront this grave situation and to ensure the protection of their homeland, its resources, and the wealth and honour of their people, a very broad-based national unity and consensus is required.
He said the brave people should promise him that when a movement against this lawlessness and unrest begins, every home and every individual must consider this important national duty as their personal duty and participate in this historic movement.
He said that in the context of the Hana, Ziarat, and Shahrag incidents, the successful ten-day sit-in held in Quetta brought a slight reduction in the spread of terrorism, but terrorism and anti-Pashtun actions have not ended. Although all parties came together with great sincerity and courage to run the movement, the need now is to unite that All Parties alliance once again and begin the movement, with all organisations from every walk of life and all people participating fully. Because the conspiracy being hatched against Pashtunkhwa, the homeland, in the name of fake terrorism and lawlessness is not something that one party or one organisation alone can stop; rather, every district, every tehsil, every union council, and every home must support this political and democratic resistance movement, and raise its voice to ensure that artificial “terrorism is unacceptable,” “operations are unacceptable,” and the protection of their people and resources.
He said the Pashtun people must rise above all kinds of political, tribal, and regional differences and realise the bitter reality that dangers loom over the future of our and your children. Therefore, nothing, not even any property, is more valuable than our children’s lives. We must unite and organise nationally, and like our forefathers, protect our homeland and our children’s future at all costs.
He said that PkNAP’s representation in the National Assembly is owed to the sincerity, love, national courage, and political awareness of the brave people of Zhob, Sherani, and Qila Saifullah districts. Through this representation, PkNAP will raise its voice on every forum for the achievement of the rights and powers of subjugated nations and oppressed peoples and the protection of basic human rights, while continuing efforts at every level to resolve the problems of the people of this region. They have always raised their voice for the Zhob National Highway, the installation of telephone towers, the establishment of various educational institutions, and other works. For the completion of these development projects, the martyred Nawabzada Usman Khan Kakar, as Chairman of the Committee for Backward Areas, raised a strong voice, and as a result of his struggle, various development works were initiated.
He said that the people are the real owners of the vote and governance; we only represent them in the assemblies. Whatever demands our brave people make, we will accept them, convey them to the rulers, and play a full role in resolving them.
He said that patriotic, people-friendly politics and the importance of the party are undeniable and real, but our brave people must unite above politics, parties, and tribal disputes. Just as the brave people here, rising above all kinds of differences and relationships, gave PkNAP a resounding victory in the last elections, we are grateful to all the brave people, and through the representation they have given us, we will further accelerate the struggle for the achievement of the rights and powers of subjugated nations and oppressed humanity.
