No Compromise on Pakistan’s Defense — PM Shehbaz Praises Army’s Strong Response to Afghanistan

Islamabad: Prime Minister **Shehbaz Sharif** has strongly condemned Afghanistan’s recent provocations along Pakistan’s border areas, praising the **Pakistan Army** for delivering a powerful and professional response under the leadership of the **Field Marshal**.

In an official statement, the Prime Minister said he takes pride in the army’s professionalism and valor. *“Under the bold leadership of the Field Marshal, our forces gave Afghanistan a strong and decisive reply, destroying multiple Afghan posts and forcing their retreat,”* he stated.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering stance on national defense, Shehbaz Sharif declared, *“There will be no compromise on the defense of Pakistan. Every act of aggression will be met with a strong and effective response.”*

He added that Pakistan’s defense remains in capable hands and that the nation knows well how to protect every inch of its territory. *“Our army has always given a fitting reply to any form of external aggression, and the entire nation stands firmly with our security forces,”* he emphasized.

The Prime Minister also pointed to the **involvement of terrorist groups operating from Afghan soil**, saying that Pakistan has repeatedly shared intelligence with Kabul about **“Fitna al-Khawarij”** and **“Fitna al-Hindustan”** — elements working to destabilize the region.

Shehbaz expressed hope that the **Afghan government** will ensure its territory is not used against Pakistan, reiterating that peace and stability require mutual respect for sovereignty and regional cooperation.
