Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta), 5 October 2026: IG Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir has said that the protection of citizens’ lives and property and the provision of a peaceful and crime-free environment to them is the foremost responsibility of Balochistan Police, for which police officers and personnel must perform their duties with full responsibility.
He expressed these views while speaking to police officers and personnel during a visit to Qila Saifullah. On this occasion, DIG Sohail Khalid, SSP Pishin Captain (Retd) Naveed Alam, and other police officers were also present.
DIG Police Zhob gave a detailed briefing to IG Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir regarding the security situation and law and order in the area. On this occasion, IG Police Balochistan directed police officers to continue effective measures for the protection of citizens, the establishment of law and order, and the prevention of crime.
Earlier, upon arrival at Qila Saifullah, a smartly turned-out police contingent presented a salute to IG Police Balochistan. He visited the Martyrs’ Memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs.
Later, during his visit to Qila Saifullah, IG Police Balochistan inspected Police Station Bostan and met with police personnel. He also reviewed the performance of the police station. On this occasion, commendation certificates were distributed among police personnel who demonstrated excellent performance.
