CM Balochistan Sardar Sarfraz Bugti Hails Pakistan’s Strength and Readiness to Defend Against Aggression
Quetta:Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sardar Sarfraz Bugti, has reiterated that Pakistan’s defense is in capable hands, and that the country will never compromise on its sovereignty and independence. In his address on the occasion of *Yom-e-Tashakkur* (Day of Thanksgiving), Bugti emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to protect its borders and respond decisively to any form of aggression.
Addressing a large gathering of provincial ministers, parliamentary secretaries, members of the assembly, senior civil and military officials, and the families of martyrs, Bugti stated, “Pakistan is a proud and invincible nation, and we will not tolerate any attempts to undermine our independence. If anyone dares to cast an evil eye on our motherland, that eye will be taken out.”
He went on to say that Pakistan has repeatedly demonstrated that it is not only a nation seeking peace but also one that possesses the full capability to retaliate forcefully against any act of aggression. Bugti also expressed confidence that Pakistan’s military strength, its preparedness, and the unity of the nation are key factors that ensure the country’s security.
The Chief Minister recalled the recent terrorist attack, which occurred hundreds of kilometers away from Pakistan’s border in India, and how Pakistan was blamed for the attack without any investigation. “As a responsible state, Pakistan not only offered a transparent investigation but also suggested including other countries in the process,” Bugti noted. However, he criticized India’s arrogant stance, which led to an escalation of tensions and the pursuit of warlike actions.
He also referred to India’s attempt to launch a nighttime attack on Pakistan, which was swiftly repelled by the Pakistan Army. “After the attack, India was begging for a ceasefire,” Bugti said, underscoring the military readiness, faith, and unity of Pakistan that resulted in a firm response to the enemy’s aggression.
Bugti reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces are always prepared to defend the nation, and the entire country takes immense pride in the professionalism and courage of its military. He praised the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff, acknowledging the strategic wisdom, bravery, and resolve with which the army thwarted the enemy’s attempts.
“The Pakistani nation is a living nation that regards its defense as a form of worship. Today, the nationwide celebrations of *Yom-e-Tashakkur* are proof of our collective consciousness and national unity,” Bugti added. He emphasized that Pakistan has consistently conveyed to the world its desire for peace and stability in the region, but if anyone misinterprets the nation’s peace efforts as weakness, they will face a response just as forceful as before.
In conclusion, the Chief Minister thanked all the distinguished guests for their participation in the event, describing the gathering as a demonstration of national unity and solidarity. “This sends a clear message to our enemies that Pakistan is a strong, united, and determined state,” Bugti concluded.
