Metro bus services suspended within Twin cities

ISLAMABAD: Authorities have decided to suspend Metro Bus service between Saddar and Pak Secretariat stations until November 13 due to the movement of cricket teams participating in the tri-nation ODI series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
According to Metro Bus sources, the service suspension has been implemented on the directives of the district administration.
Meanwhile, three stations Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, IJP and Sixth Road—will also remain closed during the cricket matches.
The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has separately issued a traffic advisory for Sunday in view of the Sri Lankan cricket team’s movement.
Traffic diversions will be introduced at various points along Srinagar Highway, which may result in temporary slowdowns. ITP officials have advised motorists to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience during the team’s transit.
