Journalist Claims Provincial Information Minister Spent Rs80 Million on Customized Shoes for Family

Lahore: Journalist Syed Imran Shafqat has claimed that a provincial minister for information and broadcasting had specially made shoes brought from Italy for himself and his family, with the total expenditure allegedly reaching Rs80 million.
In his vlog, Syed Imran Shafqat claimed that the provincial minister invited a shoemaker from Italy to Pakistan specifically for the purpose of making customized footwear for the minister and his family.
According to the journalist, the shoemaker traveled to Pakistan and took measurements of the feet of the minister and his family members so that customized shoes could be prepared for them.
While expensive footwear from internationally renowned brands is often associated with luxury spending, Syed Imran Shafqat claimed that, in this case, a shoemaker was allegedly brought from Italy to Pakistan to prepare made-to-measure shoes for the entire family.
