Unnecessary Delay in Resolving Public Issues Will Not Be Tolerated: Speaker Balochistan Assembly
Open court held in Chaman; citizens pile up issues including NADRA, electricity, and sanitation; officers issued directives for immediate resolution
Chaman (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — An open court (Khuli Kachehri) was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Balochistan Assembly and Deputy Commissioner Chaman in Chaman district, with directives for the timely resolution of public issues. To directly address public issues, improve governance, and review development matters in Chaman district, an open court was organized today at the DC Complex Assembly Hall in Chaman, jointly chaired by Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai and Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangalzai.
A large number of tribal elders, religious scholars, national notables, dignitaries of the area, and the general public from Chaman district participated in the open court. On this occasion, citizens presented their issues, complaints, and suggestions directly before the Speaker Balochistan Assembly and Deputy Commissioner Chaman regarding NADRA, electricity, unemployment, an effective sanitation system, regular cleaning of streets, drains, and roads, timely drainage of stagnant and dirty water, proper disposal of garbage, and further improvement of the sanitation system in streets and neighborhoods — especially around hospitals and other public places — so that, along with eliminating filth, stench, and pollution, a clean and healthy environment can be provided to citizens, as well as various other public, administrative, developmental, and basic facilities-related matters.
The Speaker Balochistan Assembly and Deputy Commissioner Chaman listened directly to the participants’ issues and complaints with attention and patience and issued directives to the officers of the relevant departments present on the spot for the immediate resolution of numerous matters and necessary actions. They made it clear that unnecessary delay in resolving public issues will not be tolerated, and concerned authorities should ensure the provision of relief to citizens by all possible means.
During the open court, a detailed review was also conducted of development projects underway in the district, including the BSDI scheme, the provision of basic facilities, civic issues, and other important administrative matters. Officers of the relevant departments briefed the meeting on the ongoing measures and progress related to their respective sectors.
Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai said that resolving public issues and providing basic facilities are among the top priorities of the government, while direct contact between the public and the administration can make the resolution of problems more effective.
Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangalzai directed the concerned officers to take immediate and priority action on the issues and applications presented by the public in the open court, and to ensure effective measures to settle matters related to the district administration or relevant departments within the stipulated time.
On this occasion, officers of the district administration, police, Chaman Scouts, various government departments, and other concerned authorities were also present. The strong participation of the public in the open court reflected the need to further strengthen public contact, transparent governance, and effective coordination for the timely resolution of issues.
