Four Militants Killed in Security Operations in KP, Balochistan

Peshawar/Quetta:Security forces have killed four militants in separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, according to security sources.

In Mir Ali and surrounding areas of North Waziristan, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij, killing three militants, the sources said.

According to security officials, the hideouts were also destroyed during the operation. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain militants.

Separately, security forces conducted an operation against Fitna al-Hindustan in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.

Security sources said the operation was carried out near Mal Madrasa in the Sorab district following information about the presence of militants between Mal Madrasa and Batigo. One militant was killed during the operation.

Weapons and a motorcycle were recovered from the slain militant, according to security sources.

The security forces reiterated their resolve to maintain peace and stability in Balochistan and eliminate terrorism from the province.
