Bazai Tribes Delegation Meets Quetta Division Commissioner, Expresses Serious Concerns Over Security Check Posts in Aghbarg and Nohsar

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — A delegation of Bazai tribes, led by Member of Provincial Assembly Malik Naeem Khan Bazai, met with Quetta Division Commissioner Zeeshan Lashari, during which a detailed exchange of views took place on the problems faced by the tribes in Aghbarg and Nohsar, the law and order situation, and matters related to security check posts.

During the meeting, tribal elders briefed the Commissioner on their concerns regarding security check posts and the difficulties faced by the local population. The tribal delegation also gave a detailed briefing on matters related to the usefulness, current locations, functioning, and possible relocation of various check posts.

Tribal elders said that some security check posts are important for the peace and security of the area; however, at some locations, the public faces difficulties. They demanded that the concerns of the local population and ground realities be taken into account regarding the relocation and functioning of check posts.

On the occasion, Quetta Division Commissioner Zeeshan Lashari assured the tribal delegation that problems would be resolved on a priority basis and directed the Deputy Commissioner Quetta West to take necessary steps to address the tribes’ concerns regarding check posts.

The Commissioner directed that the relevant areas be visited on-site to assess the current situation of the check posts, their necessity, and the difficulties faced by the public, and that a report be submitted in this regard. He said that a report should be submitted soon after assessing the ground realities regarding the relocation and functioning of check posts.

Zeeshan Lashari said that all possible steps will be taken for the establishment of peace and order in the area. The protection of citizens’ lives and property is the basic responsibility of the government, and serious steps are being taken in this regard.

The Quetta Division Commissioner said that the concerns of the public and tribal elders will be taken seriously, and steps will be taken to resolve problems through mutual consultation. Malik Abdul Rehman Bazai and other tribal elders and notables also participated in the meeting. The tribal delegation thanked the Quetta Division Commissioner for the assurance of immediate steps to resolve the problems.
