Karachi Court Indicts Drug Dealer Anmol Alias Pinky and Accomplice Sameer

Karachi: An Additional District and Sessions Court in Karachi has formally indicted alleged drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky and her accomplice Sameer in a drug-related case.

The hearing was held before the Additional District and Sessions Judge, where prison authorities produced both accused before the court through video link.

The investigating officer submitted the interim charge sheet in the case, following which the court formally framed charges against Anmol alias Pinky and Sameer.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Irshad Hussain read out the charges to the accused. Both Anmol and Sameer pleaded not guilty and denied the allegations levelled against them.

Following their denial, the court issued notices to the prosecution witnesses and summoned them at the next hearing for recording of their statements.

According to police, the case against the accused was registered by Darakhshan Police in 2021 in connection with alleged drug-related offences.

The court will proceed with the recording of evidence at the next hearing.
