Atta Tarar Says PTI Will Not Be Allowed to Disrupt Law and Order in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD:Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said the government will not allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to enter Islamabad and disrupt the law-and-order situation, saying the government would take measures to prevent any such disruption. ([Geo News Urdu][1])
Speaking to Geo News, Tarar said that, regardless of the circumstances, the government would not permit PTI to create a law-and-order situation in the federal capital. He said the government would stop any attempt to disturb public order.
The information minister alleged that he had not seen PTI hold a peaceful protest so far and warned the party to reconsider its approach.
Regarding the detention of former prime minister Imran Khan’s sisters, Tarar said they were arrested on the basis of what he described as credible information that they could create a law-and-order situation. Independent reporting has also confirmed that Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi were detained ahead of the planned PTI protest. ([Independent Urdu][2])
Tarar also questioned whom the government should negotiate with within PTI, asking who currently holds authority to make decisions in the party.
He further criticized PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, claiming that he had limited influence within the party, and said there was no justification for negotiations with those he described as lacking decision-making authority.
