NCCIA Arrests 100 People, Including 17 Foreign Nationals, in Islamabad Call Center Raid

ISLAMABAD:The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has raided an illegal call center in Islamabad and taken **100 people into custody**, including 17 foreign nationals.

According to an NCCIA spokesperson, evidence of the use of unethical applications as well as financial schemes involving **India and Brazil** was recovered from the illegal call center.

The spokesperson said the call center was sealed following the raid, while all data and electronic gadgets found at the premises were taken into custody for investigation.

The NCCIA spokesperson added that a nationwide crackdown against illegal call centers is currently underway.
