Pakistan and Egypt Agree to Enhance Cooperation in Maritime and Industrial Sectors
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Egypt have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the maritime and industrial sectors, reaffirming their commitment to promoting the blue economy and launching joint ventures.
The collaboration is being facilitated under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which is supporting Pakistan’s efforts to build international partnerships in key economic areas.
The agreement was reached during a high-level meeting between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs and the Egyptian Ambassador in Islamabad. Both sides emphasized the importance of mutual collaboration to boost industrial development and maritime trade.
The Minister for Maritime Affairs also proposed establishing “Pakistan Houses” in Africa, Central Asia, and Egypt to enhance trade relations and encourage investment between the regions.
