It Is True That I Met Ali Amin Gandapur and Sherafzal Marwat, But I Am Not Part of Any Conspiracy: Rana Sanaullah

Lahore (Qudrat Daily) — Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that it is true that he met Ali Amin Gandapur and Sherafzal Marwat, but he is not part of any conspiracy.

Speaking on ARY News’ program, he said that it is correct that he met Ali Amin Gandapur and Sherafzal Marwat. Meetings with them continued even when they were Chief Minister and have continued afterward as well, but I am not part of any such conspiracy.

He said, “My meetings of this kind have also continued with other PTI people. A few days ago, I was sitting in the House when Allama Nasir Abbas came and said that Mahmood Achakzai is sitting in his chamber and we need to talk to you. I went there, and Sanaullah Masti Khel, Allama Nasir, Mahmood Achakzai, and others were also present. All matters were discussed there—talk of violence, talk of meetings. In this way, contact between politicians continues.”

He said that Sherafzal Marwat did not file the petition after consulting with us; later I spoke with him on the phone. That is his thinking and opinion. But my personal opinion is that through the petition, what Sherafzal Marwat wants against Sohail Afridi is not possible.

Similarly, during a conversation on a private TV program, Rana Sanaullah said, “Is the Prime Minister’s House anyone’s personal property? It is an office of the state. They are refusing to go there. I also have information about a meeting at another location.”

Rana Sanaullah said that a PTI leader said that he performed Istikhara and that going there is not appropriate. They are refusing or are compelled to refuse negotiations and resolution of the matter under one pretext or another.

He said that he has met Mahmood Achakzai and holds him in great esteem; he stood with us in difficult times. Those meeting from PTI’s side do not allow their names to be mentioned; they say that if our name is mentioned, we will be disgraced and abused on social media. There are people in PTI who do not want the tension of September 27.
