Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – An alert has been issued regarding the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), directing citizens to beware of fake messages and fraudsters.
The administration of the Benazir Income Support Programme has issued an important and general informational warning for citizens regarding fake messages, WhatsApp notifications, and scammers.
According to officials, attempts are being made by sending fake messages on social media and WhatsApp to obtain citizens’ national identity card pictures, bank details, or personal information, which have no connection with BISP.
The Benazir Income Support Programme administration has clarified that all official messages regarding any amount, eligibility, or other information are sent only from the polite and verified code 8171.
All such messages sent via WhatsApp or any personal number, which claim approval of Rs 75,600 or any other amount and ask for front and back pictures of the CNIC, are completely fake.
