Balochistan Has Become a Valley of Death and Fear, Where a Ruthless Market of Killing and Mayhem Is Rampant Everywhere: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) — Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Quetta District Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Abdul Rehman Rafiq, District General Secretary Haji Ainullah Shams, Senior Deputy Ameer Maulana Khurshid Ahmed, Information Secretary Abdul Ghani Shehzad, Abdul Samad Haqyar, Mufti Muhammad Abu Bakr, Abdul Bari Shehzad, Akhtar Jan Marri, Maulana Jamaluddin Haqqani, Mufti Rashid Ahmed Haqqani, and Haji Ata Muhammad Shamshozai have said that Balochistan has become a valley of death and fear, where a ruthless market of killing and mayhem is rampant everywhere.
Due to government incompetence and the continuously deteriorating law and order situation, every city, street, and alley of Balochistan has practically become a no-go area, where the lives and property of the people are not safe and a atmosphere of fear and panic prevails everywhere.
They said that the entire focus of the rulers, instead of protecting the lives and property of the people, has been confined to the security cordon of the Red Zone and important government buildings. Behind walls, the rulers are busy erecting more walls to ensure their own protection, while the people are caught in a struggle between life and death amid flames of fire and gunpowder.
They said that due to government incompetence, administrative weakness, and the absence of practical arrangements for law and order, the lives and property of citizens in various cities, highways, and remote areas of Balochistan are facing serious threats. The incidents occurring daily have created severe anxiety and insecurity among the people. The government should demonstrate practical fulfillment of its responsibility instead of mere statements and formal measures.
