Justice Will Now Be Found on the Streets, Not in Court Buildings: Aleema Khan

ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Daily) – Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founding chairman Imran Khan, has strongly criticized the judicial system and appealed to the nation to come out on the streets for their rights. Speaking to the media in Islamabad, she said that Justice Baqir Najfi is the same judge who allowed Nawaz Sharif to go abroad, to London, on a mere Rs50 stamp paper, and today that same judge is shamelessly advising Imran Khan to get his treatment done at a government hospital. She said that this double standard has clearly exposed the true state of justice in the country before the public.
Speaking on the current situation of the judiciary, Aleema Khan said that today Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, who was the head of the entire country’s judiciary, has surrendered his weapons before the constitutional court. She said that in this country it has now become completely impossible to get justice in accordance with the Constitution and the law, and this system will never provide justice to Imran Khan. She added that the nation and the oppressed can no longer expect any justice from these court buildings, because all institutions have deviated from their actual purpose.
While talking to media representatives, she addressed the public and said that she is coming out into the field for the release of her brother Imran Khan and for the protection of the country’s Constitution. She said that if the nation and coming generations truly want justice, then they will now have to take to the streets to obtain it, because no good will come from these government buildings anymore. She urged the nation to come out of their homes for the sake of a safe and dignified future for themselves and their children, and to raise their voice against this injustice.
