“Even If They Bring 100,000 Police and 100,000 Troops on September 27, They Will Not Be Able to Stop 4 Million People”

Lahore (Qudrat Daily) — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said that 4 million people will come out on September 27; even if they bring 100,000 police and 100,000 troops, they will still not be able to stop the people. Speaking to the media during the street movement in Lahore, he said that it has become a tradition that an attempt was made to abduct me in a police vehicle. These people will not remain in power all their lives; this is the politics of Pakistan, where the game keeps turning.

“The next turn is ours. A video is being made of every single policeman standing here. We will come to power through the public vote; even now we have won with 180 seats, but they robbed the vote. When our turn comes, then neither a woman’s card will work nor a illness card, nor will there be any consideration for the elderly. These thieves, robbers, and dacoits who have occupied the people of Punjab will be held fully accountable.”

Furthermore, rally activities regarding the street movement by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi are continuing in Lahore. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi said that he is still in Lahore today, and God willing, he will set out again at five o’clock for the street movement. Yesterday, we did not give any call in Lahore, yet the people of Lahore came out on the streets in large numbers on their own. We had not told anyone where we were going; the people of Lahore came out themselves. Punjab Police erected barriers in our paths and closed all routes. Wherever we were going, the lights there were turned off, petrol pumps were shut down, and owners were stopped from giving petrol to our vehicles.

Tents were uprooted from our place of stay and arriving workers were arrested. The people of Lahore came out on the streets in large numbers yesterday without any call. The people of Lahore will come out today as well. The fake government and police of Punjab should come to their senses. If the attitude does not change today as well, then after the ongoing meeting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a strong reaction will come.
