Improving Public Service Quality and Digitalization Is an Urgent Need of the Time: Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) September 15: In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, secretaries presented performance reports of various departments for the past two years and briefed on reforms, achievement of targets, and future course of action. In the meeting, the secretaries of CMIT, Prosecution, Interfaith Harmony, Women Development, and IPC gave detailed briefings on the performance of their sectors, ongoing initiatives, challenges faced, and future priorities. The secretaries shed light on the reform measures implemented in their departments, improvements in service delivery, administrative performance, and progress related to the promotion of public convenience.

On this occasion, the Chief Secretary directed that in order to further improve the quality of public service, all departments should ensure transparency, speed, and accountability in their performance. Placing special emphasis on digitalization in departments, he said that through the effective use of modern technology, convenience, speed, and transparency can be brought to government affairs. On this occasion, emphasis was also laid on the need to make online systems, digital records, e-governance, and integrated monitoring mechanisms more effective.

The Chief Secretary said that the provincial government is committed to institutional reforms, better governance, and the timely delivery of public services. He directed the relevant departments to further improve their performance and work according to a clear, actionable, and result-oriented roadmap for the future.
