100 Government Employees Including 95 University Teachers Dismissed in Balochistan on Charges of Anti-State Narrative

QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta) – Taking the strictest action against anti-state narrative, the Home Department of the Government of Balochistan has dismissed 100 government employees, including 95 university teachers, from their jobs.

Giving details in this regard, Special Assistant to the Home Department of Balochistan, Babar Yousafzai, said that all the dismissed government employees were running an anti-Pakistan narrative. He clarified that these employees had openly violated their official oath, and no compromise whatsoever can be made on a narrative against the state.

Babar Yousafzai said in unequivocal terms that it is absolutely unacceptable that a person receives government perks and salary from the government and at the same time spreads poison against Pakistan. Such elements will not be spared under any circumstances, and they are being dealt with with an iron hand in accordance with the law.

According to figures from the Balochistan Home Department, among the 100 dismissed employees, the largest number is of university teachers, whose number is 95, while three employees of the Health Department and five other government officials have also been dismissed as punishment for running an anti-state narrative.

Special Assistant Babar Yousafzai further revealed that cases against two more teachers over anti-state activities are currently pending, and action will be taken in accordance with the law after the investigations are completed.
