Islamabad’s Walls Are Saying Administrative Units Will Be Created: Muneeb Farooq

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Journalist Muneeb Farooq has said that the walls of Islamabad are saying that administrative units will be created and demonstrated, preparations for a referendum are underway, and data will be collected from the Election Commission.

Speaking in his vlog, he said that the walls of Islamabad are saying that those who claim administrative units cannot be formed will be shown that they can be. Preparations for a referendum are underway, and after collecting data from the Election Commission, it will be asked to present it before the Prime Minister in a joint session. After the referendum, the “masterpiece” will come — meaning the clash of constitutional clauses will be resolved through a constitutional court.

Meanwhile, in an interview, former federal minister Muhammad Ali Durrani said that the status quo is not an option for Pakistan, and the transfer of powers to the people at the grassroots level has now become inevitable. He said the real issue is not merely the creation of new or smaller provinces, but giving the people a genuine share in power, resources, and decision-making.

He said the country’s current system is suffering from a kind of occupation in which the ruling class considers itself fully empowered, while the people’s practical share in power is almost nonexistent.

He said that under the current situation, people do not consider their existence secure and want change, while the ruling class is interested in maintaining the existing system. Pakistan’s entire system has become a one-wheeled cart in which the rulers are included, but the people are not an effective part of it.

Muhammad Ali Durrani said that despite nearly 78 years since Pakistan’s creation, the country’s basic problems remain unchanged. Roads, hospitals, and a quality education system are not present at the required level, and approximately 25 million children are out of school.

He said an elite occupation has been established in Pakistan, which includes the class that inherited powers from the British era. The bureaucracy is also part of it, powerful institutions are also a component of this system, and the judiciary is also included in it as needed.
