Maryam Nawaz’s London Visit Costs Rs11.3 Million in Parking and Fuel, Claims Anchor

ISLAMABAD: TV anchor Muhammad Malik has claimed that the private aircraft used by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz during her visit to London incurred parking charges of Rs3.5 million for three days, while fuel expenses amounted to Rs7.8 million, bringing the total cost to around Rs11.3 million.
According to Muhammad Malik, Maryam Nawaz travelled to London in a private aircraft to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony.
Speaking during a television programme, Malik said the aircraft’s three-day parking fee in London was Rs3.5 million, while the fuel cost stood at Rs7.8 million. He said the combined expense amounted to more than Rs110 million?
Malik also said that President Asif Ali Zardari was in London on a private visit but had travelled in an official aircraft, whose parking charges were estimated at Rs5.4 million.

Meanwhile, President Zardari has departed London for Pakistan after staying in the United Kingdom for more than a week.
Speaking to journalists at the airport before his departure, the president was asked about his health. He replied that, by the grace of Allah, he was feeling well and had spent a good time in London.
Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Tipu Usman, saw President Zardari off at the airport. The president had remained in the UK for more than a week during his visit.
