Lahore High Court Judge Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh Resigns

Lahore High Court Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh has resigned from his position.
Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh was appointed as a judge of the Lahore High Court on May 7, 2021, and was scheduled to retire in 2036.
In his resignation, Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh said serving as a judge had been an honor and a matter of pride. Following his resignation, he said he plans to pursue legal scholarship, policy research and comparative judicial practice.
He said the years spent on the judicial bench were among the most important and fulfilling years of his professional life. He added that he was leaving the bench with an unwavering commitment to the Constitution and the rule of law.
A copy of Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh’s resignation has also been sent to the Registrar of the Lahore High Court.
