Balochistan Youth Urged to Focus on Education, Modern Skills Instead of Weapons: Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau

**QUETTA:** Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has urged the province’s youth to focus on education, knowledge, technology and modern skills, saying that the pen, rather than weapons, should be the source of strength for the younger generation.

In a message issued here, the provincial home minister said that the youth of Balochistan were the future of the people and that the modern era was defined by education, science, technology and professional skills.

He said education was the key force capable of taking individuals and societies from backwardness towards development. “The future of a nation cannot be changed through slogans alone; it is transformed through education, books, the pen, hard work, good character and consistent efforts,” he said.

Mir Ziaullah Langau said Balochistan’s youth should compete with other nations through knowledge and education rather than weapons. He encouraged young people to pursue careers as doctors, engineers, teachers, scientists, lawyers, civil servants, researchers and technology experts, and to strive for excellence in every field of life.

He further urged successful young people not to use their achievements solely for personal benefit, but to utilize their knowledge and positions for the service of the people and the development of Balochistan. He also called on them to guide the younger generation and play their role in building a better society.

The home minister said the world was rapidly advancing through artificial intelligence, computers, science, modern industries and digital technologies. He stressed that the youth of Balochistan should acquire modern skills, enter emerging fields, develop innovative ideas and use technology as a tool for the province’s development.

“We want to see a Balochistan where education is widespread, young people are skilled, knowledge and research are respected, and technology becomes a means of progress,” Mir Ziaullah Langau said.
