Balochistan Govt, Harley Healthcare Services Sign Landmark Agreement to Establish First Medical, Dental & Nursing College Under PPP Model

Quetta – In a historic development, the Government of Balochistan has signed an agreement with **Harley Healthcare Services** to establish the province’s first **Medical, Dental, and Nursing College** under a **public-private partnership (PPP) model**. The initiative is being hailed as a milestone in promoting quality medical education in the region.

According to details, the college will initially admit **100 students annually** across medical, dental, nursing, and allied health sciences programs. In addition, **16 talented students** will be awarded **full scholarships**, ensuring that financial challenges do not hinder their education. The intake capacity will be gradually expanded to accommodate **up to 600 students** in later phases.

Balochistan Chief Minister **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** welcomed the development, calling it a transformative step for the province:

> “This institution will not only provide world-class medical education but also enable Balochistan’s youth to access international-standard training right here in their own province.”

He emphasized that students from remote and underprivileged areas would also benefit, reaffirming the government’s commitment to reforms in **education and healthcare**. The chief minister added that the project would play a crucial role in strengthening the healthcare system by producing future doctors, dentists, and nurses.

The agreement marks the beginning of a new era for **medical education in Balochistan**, promising long-term benefits for both the education and health sectors.
