Video of Fight Between Two Women in Karachi Apartment Goes Viral
KARACHI:A CCTV video showing a physical altercation between two women at an apartment in Karachi’s Khayaban-e-Bukhari area has gone viral on social media.
According to reports, an argument between the two women at an apartment in Defence initially turned into a heated exchange before escalating into a physical fight.
The CCTV footage shows one woman allegedly assaulting the other. An iron exercise dumbbell can also be seen in the footage. A police officer is also allegedly seen pushing a man who was accompanying the woman who was subjected to violence.
The affected woman, identified as Noor-ul-Ain, later shared an alleged video recorded after the assault, which quickly went viral on the internet.
The affected family has also submitted an application at Darakshan Police Station, seeking action over the incident.
DIG South Asad Raza said that the incident would be investigated on merit. He added that the individuals subjected to violence were siblings who were residing in the apartment with their mother.
The police official assured that the facts of the incident would be established through an impartial inquiry and appropriate action would be taken in accordance with the findings.
