Journalist Siddiq Sajid Reacts to Qasim and Sulaiman Khan’s Sky Sports Interview

ISLAMABAD: Analyst and journalist Siddiq Sajid has reacted to the Sky Sports interview given by PTI founder Imran Khan’s sons, Qasim Khan and Sulaiman Khan, describing what he called a “Goldsmith Plan 2.”

In a statement posted on social media platform X, Siddiq Sajid said that Zac Goldsmith’s letter to the British government, followed by the manner in which Imran Khan’s sons gave their interview, and former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja bringing Pakistani politics into the sporting arena, pointed in his view to a coordinated campaign.

He claimed that Jemima Goldsmith, Qasim Khan, Sulaiman Khan, Zac Goldsmith and their associates were part of a broader campaign.

Siddiq Sajid further said that these developments could be viewed as an attempt to increase political pressure on the international front regarding Imran Khan.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s son Qasim Khan recently alleged in an interview with Sky Sports that efforts were being made to keep his father in prison for a prolonged period.

Qasim claimed that there was an attempt to keep Imran Khan behind bars for as long as possible and possibly silence his voice. He said the family had initially expected his father’s imprisonment to be temporary, but the situation had continued for much longer than anticipated.
