WhatsApp to Introduce AI Character Creation Feature for Android Users
Islamabad:WhatsApp is preparing to launch a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature for Android users, allowing them to create personalized AI characters within the app.
According to *Web Beta Info*, the latest beta version 2.25.1.26 of WhatsApp for Android is set to introduce this feature, which will enable users to create their own custom AI characters. The feature will prompt users to define the purpose of the chatbot and explain its core functions. The process of creating a chatbot will be simplified, ensuring that even users without a technical background can easily create their desired chatbot.
Currently, this feature is only available in the beta version, and it is not yet accessible to regular users. Even beta testers do not have full access to this tool as of now. However, it is expected that the feature will soon be made available to the general public.
It is noteworthy that WhatsApp’s parent company, Meta, has its own open-source large language model (LLM) called Llama 3, which includes Meta AI and has been integrated into WhatsApp as well.
