Were Neelum Muneer and Ahsan Khan not the first choice for ‘Chakkar’?

Neelum Muneer and Ahsan Khan starring ‘Chakkar’ is the new Pakistani crime thriller which released in theatre this Eid but recently it has been revealed that both actors were not the first choice for the role.

During a recent interview, while replying to the question about the movie’s initial cast, the production team revealed the popular actors who were first approached for the main leads of the film Chakkar.

On the question, “Who were the choices before Ahsan and Neelum Muneer?”, the producers said that they are super happy with their current actors, Neelum was the best choice and whatever happens, happens for good.

Both Nida and Yasir then revealed that Mawra Hocane and Feroze Khan were almost finalized for the role and they were given the advance payment, but both backed out, Mawra sent back the paycheck through his manager, while Feroze’s advance was returned by his brother. It was a proper contract signed by both, Yasir family revealed.
