Two Fatal Accidents in Hub and Othal, Four Dead, Over a Dozen Injured

Hub:Two separate road accidents near Hub and Othal’s Zero Point have resulted in the tragic deaths of four individuals and injuries to more than 12 others.

The first incident occurred near Othal Zero Point, where a fast-moving passenger coach traveling from Quetta to Karachi collided with a truck, leading to the death of two people. Over 12 passengers sustained injuries in the crash. The bodies and the injured were immediately transported to Othal Hospital, where they received first aid. Some of the injured were later transferred to a hospital in Karachi for further treatment. According to rescue sources, one of the deceased was from Hub.

In another incident near Hub city, a high-speed car traveling from Karachi to Quetta overturned near Shakir Hotel on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway. Two people lost their lives in the accident, and their bodies were sent to Hub Hospital. The deceased were reportedly from Quetta.

Both incidents have drawn attention to the growing concerns over road safety in the region. Rescue operations were carried out by Edhi Foundation and Rescue 1122 teams. After completing the necessary formalities, the bodies were handed over to their respective families.

Authorities have yet to release further details regarding the causes of the accidents.
