Successful Negotiations Between Gwadar Protesters and Government Delegation
Gwadar:negotiations between a government delegation led by Deputy Commissioner Hamood-ur-Rehman and the protesters organized by the Baloch Solidarity Committee have reached a successful conclusion. According to Dawn News, the protests, led by the Baloch Solidarity Committee, were advocating for their rights.
The delegation, accompanying Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, included leaders from various political parties and representatives from the business community. Following the successful talks, Assistant Commissioner Gwadar Mir Joad Zahri announced that the detained activists would be released. He also stated that mobile networks would be restored and roadblocks removed to ease access.
Minister for Interior Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove, affirmed that the government is ready to address and resolve all demands within the framework of the constitution and law. He emphasized that dialogue is the only way to resolve issues and urged all parties to work together for the country’s progress and prosperity. He has been present in Gwadar for the past three days on the instructions of Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.
However, the Baloch Solidarity Committee (BSC) has rejected the government’s claims. They stated that the government had only negotiated with a committee formed under the name of “All Parties,” with which they have no association.
