Karachi: Pakistani national cricket team’s fast bowler Shahin Shah Afridi is expecting a new guest soon. Jason Gillespie, the head coach for Pakistan’s Test format, has stated that Shahin Shah Afridi is expected to become a father in the coming days, prompting him to spend time with his family.
Gillespie expressed that the fast bowler could potentially be dropped from the series against Bangladesh to allow him to dedicate time to his family. He also mentioned that Shan Masood will captain the Test team, while a meeting with Babar Azam took place in Lahore.
It is clear that the Bangladesh cricket team will visit Pakistan in the third week of August, playing a series consisting of 2 Test matches, which are part of the World Test Championship. The first Test match between the two teams will be played in Rawalpindi from August 21 to 25, while the second Test will take place in Karachi from August 30 to September 3.
