Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, recently shared a humorous anecdote about how Bollywood’s King, Shah Rukh Khan, once bought him a laptop, which Khan never ended up using.
During an event, Aamir Khan recalled that Shah Rukh, always ahead in terms of technology, suggested he buy a laptop during a trip to the UK in 1996. Shah Rukh convinced him that the laptop would be useful for work and managing data. Eventually, Aamir agreed, telling Shah Rukh to buy one for himself and also get one for him.
Despite purchasing the laptop, Aamir Khan never opened it and left it untouched for years. It wasn’t until his manager noticed the unused laptop and asked if he could use it. Aamir, laughing, gave him permission, but when the manager tried to turn it on, it didn’t work.
Aamir jokingly said, “Technology and I have a very distant relationship.”
On the professional front, Aamir Khan’s recent film *Laal Singh Chaddha* did not perform well at the box office. However, Khan is now working on the sequel to his successful film *Taare Zameen Par*, titled *Sitare Zameen Par*. The film will focus on raising awareness about Down Syndrome, and Aamir promises that this sequel will be 10 times better, blending both sadness and comedy.
Originally set to release in December 2024, Aamir has pushed the release to Summer 2025 to ensure the film is perfected.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has enjoyed great success with his recent films *Jawan*, *Pathaan*, and *Dunki*, all of which have performed exceptionally well at the box office.
