Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has strongly criticized the tenure of Imran Khan, stating that during his 3 years and 8 months in power, Khan contributed nothing positive to the country. Speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, Abbasi expressed concern over the government’s recent decision to block roads, causing significant inconvenience to citizens.
He emphasized that while protests are a democratic right, the current administration is causing undue hardship by restricting access to public spaces. Abbasi remarked, “The entire city of Rawalpindi was shut down for a whole day. What shame do we have left that we are doing this to our own people?”
He added that the situation in Pakistan has never been as dire as it is now, criticizing the government’s approach to governance and the disruption it causes to everyday life.
