Senior Politician Sher Afzal Marwat Demands Apology After Being Expelled from PTI

Senior politician Sher Afzal Marwat has demanded an apology from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after being expelled from the party. In a conversation with a private TV channel, Marwat expressed that he was not heard before the decision to expel him was made. However, he stated that he accepted the decision and would refrain from participating in any party activities for the next three months.

Marwat further noted that PTI Chairman Imran Khan himself had previously said that if he made any wrong decisions, they should be questioned. Yet, according to Marwat, the current decisions within the party are being based on gossip and backbiting.

“If such decisions are being made within the party, we should be ashamed to seek justice from the judiciary,” said Marwat. He also warned that if the statements against him continue, he would not remain silent. He criticized those trying to mislead Imran Khan, stating their performance would become apparent in three months.

With upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, Marwat expressed doubt about the current leadership’s ability to handle these responsibilities.

When asked about his relationship with Imran Khan, Marwat affirmed that he still considers him a leader. He mentioned that if Khan instructed him to resign from the National Assembly, he would comply, but he would like to hear the order directly from Khan.

It is worth noting that Sher Afzal Marwat was expelled from PTI on the instructions of party founder Imran Khan, with a formal notification issued regarding his removal.
