Mumbai: Renowned Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has recently shared the reason behind her decision to decline a film offer with megastar Shah Rukh Khan.
In a recent interview, Tandon explained that she had initially signed up for a film alongside Khan, with all the paperwork completed. However, when the filmmakers showed her the costumes for the film, she found them to be quite bold and uncomfortable. Feeling that she would not be able to wear the outfits comfortably, Tandon decided to withdraw from the project.
When Shah Rukh Khan learned about her decision, he reportedly questioned her choice, wondering why she was backing out after having signed the film. Tandon clarified that her discomfort with the bold costumes was the main reason for her decision. Khan understood her concerns and supported her decision.
Tandon praised Khan, describing him as courteous, soft-spoken, and quick-witted. She noted that her experience working with him in films was excellent. While Tandon did not disclose the name of the film in question, she has previously worked with Khan in films such as ‘Jadoo’ and ‘Zamana Deewana’.
